The Legal Department plays a key role in the daily activities of the Assembly.

The department facilitates the drawing up of rules and regulations to guide the activities of the Assembly as well as the interpretation of rules, laws and regulations to enhance the conduct of the Assembly’s business.

It is the responsibility of the legal department to provide legal advice on matters relating to contracts and also represent the Assembly in all legal proceedings.
