Tema Metropolitan Assembly over the weekend organised massive clean up exercise at the Central Business District of Tema to rid the environment of filth. This exercise is aimed at creating the necessary awareness to all and sundry that Operation Clean Your Frontage has taken off.

The exercise which lasted for over four hours, was led by the Mayor of Tema, Hon. Yohane Amarh Ashitey and other Officials of the Assembly.

Officers drawn from the Ghana National Fire Service, The Navy, Police and other agencies were present to ensure discipline and compliance.
