The MCE, Hon Yohane Amarh Ashitey, this morning led an Emergency Health Response Team to nip in the bud an emerging threat of Avian Flu infection on a small poultry farm in Tema.

Dr. Emmanuel Pecku, the Metropolitan Director of Vertinary Services and his team have since destroyed all the infested birds and fumigated the farm and its environs.
