The security and safety of residents and businesses in Tema features prominently in the Mayor's vision to 'make Tema Shine again '

Mayor Yohane Amarh Ashitey, this morning presented a number streetlights to the Presiding Member for onward distribution to all Hon. Assembly members for installation at vantage points in their electoral areas.

The move is aimed at enhancing illumination throughout the Metropolis as we approach the yuletide season.

All twenty-one elected representatives of the Assembly are receiving nine lamps each.
