Mr Ian Okwei, a resident of Tema and an employee of TDC Development Company Ltd has been highly commended by the Mayor of Tema, Hon.Yohane Amarh Ashitey for his communal service to residents of Tema Community seven.

Mr.Okwei's effort to singlehandedly reconstruct a community footbridge as well as an adjoining storm drain linking Community seven to the GTP area, caught the Mayor's attention during his routine Electoral Area inspection tour this afternoon.

Mayor Ashitey was particularly interested in a green park that Mr Okwei is currently putting in place as his contribution to the "operation clean your frontage " exercise.

He added that in line with his vision to make "Tema Shine again", he will vigorous pursue operation clean and beautify the City as a component of "operation clean your frontage "
