The Tema Mayor, Hon Yohane Amarh Ashitey together with the Metropolitan Director of Education Mrs Bernice Ofori and Alhaji Shehu Kadiri, Metropolitan Coordinating Director have this morning visited BECE Examination Centres throughout the Metropolis to acquaint themselves with the commencement of the examinations.

The tour took the Mayor and his team to several centres including Chemu SHS centres A and B, Methodist Day SHS, Presbyterian SHS amongst others.

Hon. Ashitey presented hand sanitizers, face masks and liquid soap to augment available stocks at the various centres.

In his interaction with the students, he encouraged them not to panic but to relax and give it their best shot, as the President's Free SHS Policy was available to propel them to the next level of their academic ladder.
