Hon. Yohane Amarh Ashitey, Tema Metropolitan Chief Executive has hinted that the Tema Metropolitan Assembly will soon form a body to be known as "Tema Senior Citizens Club" with membership drawn from Tema's rich pool of retirees drawn from all facets of the local sphere.

This group will be an advisory body that will bring their rich experiences to bear on the Assembly's drive aimed at "making Tema Shine".

Hon. Ashitey made this known when he joined the Member of Parliament for Tema Central, Hon. Yves Nii Noi Hanson Nortey and the Assembly Member for Union Electoral Area, Hon. Kwasi Asomani at a special reception organised by the Assembly member for the aged in his Electoral Area.
