The Mayor of Tema, Hon.Yohane Amarh Ashitey yesterday inspected the footbridge that connects Awudum to Tema Manhean Canoe basin.

This visit forms part of his weekly inspection tour to assess at first hand the state of strategic infrastructure in the Metropolis.

Hon. Ashitey expressed worry at the deplorable state of the footbridge and has since tasked the Engineers Department and NADMO to conduct a structural integrity test and submit a report to him immediately to inform the next line of action.

The Mayor was accompanied by Mr.Samuel Manchi, Metropolitan Works Engineer and other Officials of the Assembly.
